Solo Exhibition "To the forest -Hibernation-"
2022/11/06
It was in the winter of 2021 when my Swedish friend, A, sent me some night trial camera footage that he had captured. I was getting used to lockdown life in Japan, putting off leaving my house even after my mandatory self-isolation period had ended. In the first clip, a creature with glowing eyes approached bait set there by A. The next one was of the forest during the day with fairytale-like footage of deer, eagles, and foxes appearing one after the other.

Opening hours|12 pm - 7 pm

About Project|by Studio GROSS
How do you want to live?
With the beautiful work of artist Asami TOGAWA, we articulated our vision on this year's theme, "The Home of Man", at the 48th Nisshin Kogyo Architectural Design Competition. In September 2021, we assembled her pieces as our collective vision of town planning, introducing new urban components through the narrative of an individual inhabiting a soft town. They are returning to the studio for one day, forming a new constellation of elements - shared with you.
